At the ARC Initiative, we believe in recognizing the strengths of rural citizens and helping to unlock opportunities for communities to thrive. Through advocacy, mentorship, and outreach, we work to rebuild the civic infrastructure of rural towns across the nation.

OUR STORY
The ARC Initiative began initially in August 2015 under the name of YouthMPowers, a national service organization founded by the ARC Initiative's CEO and Founder, Tyler E. Tucker, and a group of committed youth across the country. After he began to see the detriment of economic, social, and political effects in rural South Georgia, Tyler was called to organize and help grow a small group of individuals who began their journey in rural America and had a passion for rural development. Through personal professional development and mentorship, the ARC Initiative is uniquely positioned to lead the next generation of rural leaders and community change agents.
Home: Who We Are
Furthering our cause is the most important goal of our organization. To do this, the ARC Initiative oversees three programs: the ARC Rural Leadership Mentoring Program, the ARC Ambassador Program, and the ARC Solution-Driven Series. In addition to these programs, we publish quarterly reports on the status of rural development and what we are seeing in communities across the nation. The ARC Rural Outlook Survey is published every year in October. Read more by scrolling through below.
